My wonderful mother and grandfather were very gracious during the frustrating hour of 9:00 A.M this morning as we found that the flight from L.A. to Kona had been canceled due to technical difficulties. (This is significant to me since there is supposed to be a kickoff when I get to Kona that I didn't want to miss) With major disappointment looming nearby and heavy bags on our backs and arms, I soon learned from my coach-like Aunt Sharon that the Lord works in ways like these for good that we do not see, sometimes for the good of other people. So, we move on while trusting God. I will now fly out of Atlanta tomorrow, 10/1/10, at 11:20. AND- for our inconvinience, Delta has taken care of the cost of my flight home in 6 months. That's a total of $600! Praise God!
Lesson #1: Do not be too quick to become disappointed; instead give glory to God in all circumstances. And pack light.

Thank you for all of the support already! Updates will continue after September 30, my take off date. Please keep this mission and those involved in your prayers.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
